The Central Library is situated in the Dr.PDMMC. college campus adjacent to The Department of Anatomy. It is situated near the UG/PG/Residents Hostels. Its location is also very convenient for the Students and Teaching staff of the college. The building is planned on functional basis in order to render effective and efficient service to users.
It is a separate two story building measuring about 1800 SQ. Meter( 19384.98 sq.ft.) and capacity for extension up to 24000 sq. ft. It is well lighted airy building with air condition. Reading room facilities for students are on 1st floor. the administrative unit, Stack room, Journals section and Reading room for staff/ PG are on ground floor. A Digital Library of 25 computers terminals and Internet facility is available for the Students and Staff.
The library has a rich collection of Books and Journals on Medical Sciences. It covers Textbooks, Reference Books, E-books, Journals, Theses, Dissertation, On-line Databases, and Reports, Back Volume Journals, Proceedings of seminar and conferences.
